Choosing from pop-up lists on the on-line submission forms, contributors can assign one genre designator to each entry. The form then inserts a genre designator from the righthand column into the record. These longer designators allow for simple searches on the basic search terms (e.g., fiction, nonfiction, and so on) or searches limited to genre keywords (e.g., fiction:genre). Note: contributors submitting entries via e-mail, fax, or hard copy may use the shorter forms in the left column.
