General Background:
(Associate Professor & Coordinator of English at OSU-Mansfield) (Ph.D.; Ohio State University): 18th-century British literature and Women's Studies. She is author of the book Anne Finch and Her Poetry: A Critical Biography, and co-editor of The Anne Finch Wellesley Manuscript Poems: A Critical Edition, and has published articles on such women writers as George Eliot and Margaret Tyler. She received from Ohio State University the 1994 Excellence in Scholarship and the College of Humanities 2001 Distinguished Teaching and Mentoring awards.
