General Background:
Leslie Lockett, Assistant Professor (Ph.D., University of Notre Dame, Medieval Institute), specializes in Old English language and literature, medieval Latin, manuscript studies, and early medieval intellectual history. Her first book, entitled _Anglo-Saxon Psychologies in the Vernacular and Latin Traditions_, is forthcoming from the University of Toronto Press in 2011, and she has begun work on her next book, a comprehensive study of Latin retrograde verse (that is, poetry that is metrically and syntactically viable whether you read it forwards or backwards).
