Cycle Trail Photos

In 1996 I purchased a new bicycle and resumed cycling.  I love it!  We live in Worthington, right along the bike path that follows the Olentangy River.  I try to take a walk along that path every day, and I also ride on it.  I am excited about the completion of the path between Worthington and the OSU campus, for now I can ride to work without worrying so much about automobile traffic.

I also really enjoy rails-to-trails routes.  There are some great ones in Ohio.

Below you will see some scenes of the Olentangy River and our house taken on a clear, warm winter day in 1998.  Click on them to see a larger image.

Grove.JPG (49460 bytes)I really love this grove of trees south of our house.

House from rear.JPG (51152 bytes)Our house as seen from the bike path.  The screened porch is where you are most likely to find me in the summertime!

Birds-Antrim.JPG (20533 bytes)Antrim Lake is a favorite spot for many people in Columbus.   Unfortunately, the volume of pedestrian traffic forced the city to forbid us bikers from going around the lake.

Ducks-Antrim.JPG (17502 bytes)   The ducks also like Antrim Lake.

Gull-Antrim.JPG (9874 bytes)Gulls also appeared in large numbers in 1998.
