TEACHING (at Ohio State):
Department of Greek and Latin: I have taught the full range of classes, from beginning languages and our huge mythology course, to numerous graduate seminars and undergraduate honors courses; a complete list is available upon request, as are student evaluations.
Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies: I created and regularly teach MRS 240 "Witchcraft and Magic in the Middle Ages and Renaissance," a 100-student lecture course.
Department of Comparative Studies: I have taught CS 270 (Introduction to Comparative Religion) CS 541 (Myth and Ritual) CS 651 (a seminar on sacrifice in ancient Mediterranean religions) and CS 620 (Foundational Approaches to Religion).
Institute for Collaborative Research and Public Humanities: I participated in their 2003 "Big Ideas" undergraduate seminar on Evil.
