Philosophy 230, Autumn 2003

Political and Social Philosophy

Professor Hubin

Guide:  This page links to most of the course materials that have been distributed in class and to all PowerPoint presentations used in class. In addition, sample exam questions and question banks will be posted prior to the midterm and final exams.

Important Warning: DO NOT treat the availability of these materials on-line as an excuse to miss class. While I hope that it is helpful for you to be able to review the PowerPoint presentations and to replace lost copies of handouts, these are no substitute for attendance in lecture and discussion. You will be doing yourself (and your grade) a serious disservice if you try to treat this course as a "distance learning" course.

Note About On-Line PowerPoint Presentations: Please note that PowerPoint presentations may be posted in a preliminary form prior to completion of a topic in class. It is only after we have completed a topic in class (sometimes several days after) that these on-line presentations can be assumed to be identical to those actually presented.
