PowerPoint Presentations

Note About On-Line PowerPoint Presentations (all formats): Please note that PowerPoint presentations may be posted in a preliminary form prior to completion of a topic in class. It is only after we have completed a topic in class (sometimes several days after) that these on-line presentations can be assumed to be identical to those actually presented.

Note: The overhead presentations are available in three formats:

Slide Show Format: This format is viewable by most web browsers as a static slide show. Not surprisingly, it works a bit better in Microsoft Internet Explorer than in Netscape Navigator— PowerPoint is, after all, a Microsoft product. This format will display all the overhead slides, but without the animation and sounds—a "plus" some might think.
Presentation Format: This format will display the PowerPoint presentation as it was displayed in class. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, it displays directly in browser. For Netscape Navigator, you can view the presentations by downloading the free PowerPoint viewer from Microsoft's download page.
Outline Format: This format is useful for printing out the text (only) of the slides in an economical way.
