General Background:
(MA, Ohio State University) My dissertation is about disability in contemporary narratives of identity formation. I have forthcoming publications in the Journal of Narrative Theory and in an edited volume on multicultural comics, and I co-authored a review of the University of Michigan Press's disability studies series "Corporealities" for the journal Disability Studies Quarterly. I teach composition and disability studies in the English department.
