General Background:
Susan Hanson (M.A., Comparative Studies in the Humanities; PhD abd, English) is the Academic Program Coordinator and Assistant Program Director for Literacy Studies. She is also the Academic Program Coordinator for the Veterans Learning Community and a lecturer in the department of Comparative Studies. Her course topics include folklore and performance studies; the experience and literature of war; reading and writing (auto)ethnography; and qualitative research theory and practice. She studies the aesthetics of everyday life.
