Images serve as illustrations, but the commentator's argument dominates the text.

Voices of others are woven into the textual logic of the commentator.

Persuasive in orientation, but still emphasizes objectivity.

Viewers hold expectations that a logical cause/effect link between events will unfold;  they expect the film to provide solutions to a problem.
