Welcome

Welcome to the professional web site for Doug Dangler. I am the coordinator for the Writing Center and the digital media specialist for the Ohio State University's Center for the Study and Teaching of Writing. This means that I spend my days talking about tutorials and technology. My most recent interests can be found on my blog and my research page.

Nice template. Where'd ya get it?

This rather nifty web page is based on a template from Dreamweaver (academic version). It's a little more utilitarian than what I would have liked, but I like the functionality and the ease of application. The original template included a host of extras that I've pared down, but it was an interesting expression of how the folks at DreamWeaver look at the web. It's based on external css and positional css, which is cool. As Ben McCorkle says, "Layers just blow my mind." Mine, too.

Pictures and text are nice, but what about sound?
