Accessing Second Life
Membership in Second Life is free; a premium account is unnecessary. To visit our island, you must have the Second Life program downloaded to your computer (see below), and earphones or a headset (earphones AND microphone) are recommended.
Orientation workshops precede all events on Minerva
Check to be sure your system can run Second Life (most can).

Unsure of your avatar skills? If you would like to practice before the workshop begins, you are welcome to use Minerva Island.
There is usually room in our workshops, but you can e-mail Sharon Collingwood (collingwood.7@osu.edu) if you are bringing a group. Please include your name and avatar name.
