Author of An Enabling Humility: Marianne Moore, Elizabeth Bishop, and the Uses of Tradition; Shift, a book of poetry published by the University of Chicago Press (Phoenix Poets Series), and Bat Ode (2001), also from Phoenix Poets Series; articles on Moore, Bishop, George Herbert, Charlotte Mew, Randall Jarrell, John Clare, Billy Collins,Yehuda Amichai, and others.
