General Background:
Lisa Kiser (Professor) (Ph.D., University of Virginia) Old and Middle English literature and culture, history of the English language. Author of two books on Chaucer, Truth and Textuality in Chaucer's Poetry and Telling Classical Tales: Chaucer and The Legend of Good Women. Author of reviews and essays on medieval literature and culture. Current research interests include nature in the Middle Ages and medieval environmental history. Recipient of the OSU Alumni Distinguished Teaching Award and the College of Humanities Exemplary Faculty Award.
